Everyday many smartphones are coming in the world. Each smartphone has unique quality which attracts the consumers, but still customers are waiting for better option. They could not find a perfect phone which do have only pros not the cons. What is the reason behind this wait? Is the smartphone companies not aware of the customers need or they just don't want to come up with best option as the need of customers will end after that best smartphone.
I will summarize my dream smartphone and then I will compare it with existing smartphones.
These are the following point which i need and will suggest some smartphone who have achieved these milestone
1. Screen size: Although the 5 inch phablets are attracting the customers but they are difficult to hold. Companies should not forget that the basic and frequent use of any phone is to receive and dial call. Gaming experience and watching movie on phablet is good but laptop and TV are doing well for these tasks.
Smasung galaxy note-2 (5.5 inch), Micromax A110, Micromax A116 HD canvas, Samsung galaxy Grand, Sony Xperia Z, ZL, Samsung galaxy Note, LG Optimus 4X, HTC DROID DNA, HTC butterfly, HTC one X (all 5 inch) are the some of this kind phablet which are very close to my dream phone but have monster size which gives pain to my plam.
I would recommend 4 inch to 4.5 inch screen smartphones for my dream phone. In this size Samsung galaxy S-2 (my current smartphone 4.5 inch), Google Nexus-4 and very few are in this screen size.
2. Display: All smartphones are fighting for better display some of the smartphone are coming in full HD display (1920x1080 pixels) such as HTC droid DNA (First phone with full HD)Sony Xperia-Z, ZL, HTC butterfly with 441 ppi (pixels per inch).
But I would not fall for this as I know human eyes can only see the difference till 290-310 ppi, more than that is just a waste.
So i would add 291 ppi in my dream phone.
3. Processor: Many handsets are coming with dual core and some of the handsets have taken one more step with quad core processor with 1.5 to 1.7 GHz speed. Samsung galaxy Note-2 Quadcore 1.5 GHz is the winner so far in this category.
Micromax A116 HD canvas is also announced with quadcore processor.
As for the hard core gaming and high end video play back quadcore processor is required.
My smartphone would have Quad core Tegra-4 processor (The best).
4. RAM: Again the games and multi tasking required more RAM.
My dream phone have 2 GB RAM, although in the current scenario 1 GB RAM will also work.
5. Video playback: Full HD (1920x1080): Samsung galaxy Note-2 and all high end smartphones are coming with this facility.
No compromise on this...full HD video play back added to my smartphone.
6. Camera: So far sony is the winner in this field as it has already unveiled XPERIA-Z and ZL with 13 MP camera with CMOS sensor (first time used in smartphone cameras). HTC Dorid is also equipped with 13 MP camera.
Some of the camera of 8 MP are also doing justice with their fine quality such as Samsung galaxy Note-2, Samsung galaxy grand, HTC One X+ with their smart function of panorama, burst mode, face and smile detection and many more.
I would add at least 8 MP camera in my smartphone with above smart functions with full HD (1920x1080) recording.
When we talk about front camera I surprise no company is coming with more than 2MP front camera even on high end smartphones.
May be they think that front camera is not frequently used and its only used for self portrait.
some of chinese hand sets are coming with this facility such as
Oppo ulike-2, Spice Mi 530 but will their 5 MP cameras have that much of quality, I doubt that.
My dream phone would come up with 5 MP front camera with full HD recording.
9. Smart apps and creative ideas : Such as i really like samsung's multi window app and s-note concept, Ariel view, s-pen and many more. Samsung is the company which always come up with creative ideas.
Sony also unveiled waterproof first branded waterproof phone XPERIA-Z.
My smart phone must have multi window app :-d
10. Last but not least, Low cost: All these qualities can be include in a smartphone which should be in range of 15k-20K as this is the amount an average Indian consumer can invest in a smartphone.
My dream smartphone will in the range of 15 to 20 thousand INR.
I would finally summarize my whole concept. There are so many phones which are close to my dream phone. They have all the qualities that it required, what they need is to collect all these qualities and come up with a unique smartphone which is close to my dream smart phone.
I hope smart phone companies are listening this.

7. SD card slot: Some of the high end phones came with out SD card slot. HTC droid DNA was first full HD phone by HTC came without SD card slot. Everybody was disappointed because of that. Finally they have understood and launched a new version of that which is HTC butterfly with SD card slot.
still some of the phones are not having this facility and companies are providing cloud spce to earn more money and customers have completely kicked out those high endphones.
Google Nexus-4 is one of thsese phones which is very close to my dream phone but doesnot have any SD card slot.
My dream phone would come up with SD card slot with 64 GB card support.
8. Software Update: This is the biggest concern of smartphone consumers. specifically Android versions are coming in every 6 months. This is the biggest reason of waiting for new smartphone. As customer always feel cheated when new version come and he is holding a older version which is not more than 2-3 months old. With out software update all smartphone are equivalent to Chinese handset which comes with latest version but they have warranty that you would not get any software update or your smartphone may stop work till the new software come and you have to buy new handset then.
Samsung so far is doing good job by updating software on its premium handsets. HTC also give some software update on HTC one and high end devices.
but Google gives you guarantee of each software update (as soon as its announced) on his handsets as It is the android developer. Therefore in this section no one can beat the Google Nexus handsets.
What can I say :D
